Can someone recommend a product for Bi-Racial hair???

My daughter is 10yrs old, she is bi-racial (african-american/caucasian), she has very soft curly hair, but it always frizzes out soooo....bad that she can hardly ever wear it down. She is tired of wearing a pony tail everyday. Her hair isn't strong enough to handle a relaxer. I have tried nurmerous products that don't do the trick???? Any suggestions?

I use Herbal Essence None of Your Frizzness leave in conditioner, and it works miracles! I also oil my daughter's scalp with carrot oil, but if your daughter does not have dry hair/scalp you may not need to do this. What are you trying to do to her hair? Straighten it or wear it curly, and how curly is it? Biracial hair can be close to Caucasian or kinky so if I knew more I could help you more. My daughter is not biracial (mostly black) but has curly (not kinky) hair too. Also there are mild relaxers if you want to straighten her hair. I use Motions mild relaxer on my hair when I grow it long. A black hair care salon can help you if your child's hair is closer to black hair texture.

pomade... there are tons of them out there, all different consistencies, greasiness, smells... you'll have to find the one you like. i use murray's, it's kinda stinky, cheaply priced, but it really takes care of the frizz. just scoop some out, maybe the size of a dime, rub it in your hands together quickly to heat it up, work thru clean, dry hair, paying close attention to the ends. should do the trick

Neutrogena Triple Moisture Cream Lather Shampoo/Conditioner.

(It costs $5.99) Comb her hair when it's wet, after you condition it. Make sure you get all the tangles out.

You can also use leave-in conditioner from a spray bottle (Aussie makes one that target sells for $3.14.) and spray it on when her hair is starting to frizz.

Nature Made makes a conditioner that smells like lavender and her hair will smell like perfume. It's the brown one (the conditioner, not the bottle). It costs around $6.75-$8.00, depending on where you buy it.
