I need to know?( what shampoo for my type hair.)?

O.k i'm african american and i need to know all the shampoos that would probably work for my hair, and if its not to wrong can you tell me the best thing to do to my hair after washing and conditioning.I really need to know becaues i want my hair to grow really long my hair touches the back of my neck but the front of my hair just touches my forhead then it gets longer as it leads to the back of my neck. But what im trying to say is that i want my hair all equal .

ok. i am a black stylist in the LA area and i do generally all african american hair. i use Kera Care shampoo and conditioner...it doesnt dry out our hair, it leaves some growth oils in so that there is no need to pile it with greases and oils afterwards. after you wash it and condition it, use a small amount of grease and have someone grease your scalp, and also comb your hair while the conditioner is in to get rid of tight curls. what people forget to do when they want their hair to grow is getting their ends trimmed.DO IT! it is the only way that your hair CAN grow, and too much HEAT breaks our(african american) hair in just a matter of seconds, so when ever possible, roller set it instead of flat ironing into a wrap...the best method is going to a professional.

Well not all african american girls essentially have the same hair.. I'd say it depends on your hair type and the look your going for. If you want it to be straight then consider a flat iron...

At places like WalMart they have an ethnic section with hair products for african american type hair. I use SoftSheen-Carson Oil Therapy shampoo and Pantene Relaxed and Natural deep conditioner. They work great....

After you wash you're hair, braid it. Braiding makes your hair grow faster.

Try Pantene.

i would try shampoos and conditioners from the ethnic section, and you might want to try Tresemme and John Frieda.

To make it grow, eat healthy and make sure to moisturize. Try not to use heat unless you have to.

try creme of natural

Creme of Nature worked well for me for a couple of years but I started using Pantene for Women of Color (shampoo and conditioner) and made sure I went to the salon regularly and had my ends trimmed each time I got a relaxer put in. My hair grows uneven too. That is what scissors are for. Your hair will grow if you take care of it. Make sure you take your vitamins and drink water too. If you are spiritual, you can always pray for it to happen. I did and it worked for me. Just my opinion and testimony though! Good luck.
